Water Conditioning

Water quality is one of the most important things for our health, but our water systems can become contaminated with dissolved minerals like calcium, magnesium, sulfur, iron, lead and limestone. Depending on where you live, contaminants from industrial waste, agricultural run-off, and even sewage can seep into your water supply. These issues can have a negative impact on you, your household, and your wallet. TownSide Plumbing wants you to stay healthy, informed, and experience the cleanest water possible in your home and business!

A Water Softener tank is filled with sodium-ion resin beads, which filter out calcium and magnesium ions (hardness) from the water in exchange for the sodium ions. The system periodically regenerates itself by flushing the beads with sodium ions and fresh water. The regenerated resin beads can be used again and again. Oh, and no, your water won’t taste salty, but you will notice a “softer” feel!

In the Bathroom

Your soap and shampoo will lather better. Your hair and skin will feel noticeably cleaner, softer, and not as dry. And there will be no soap scum or mineral deposits to clean off of sinks, showers, tubs, and toilets.

In the Laundry

Clothes will be softer, cleaner, whiter and brighter. Plus, your favorite clothes will last longer, saving you money! Without hard water service issues, washing machines last longer too.

In the Kitchen

Dishes will clean more easily and be spot free! Your glasses and silverware will no longer come out of the dishwasher with a gray film.

Throughout the House

Water-using appliances will last longer and run better. Why? Because water heaters, washing machines and dishwashers that use hard water can wear out faster, resulting in expensive repairs and replacements.
